The inaugural seminar of the EC4RURAL energy communities project in the Lääne-Harju municipality will take place in the Padise Select House. The aim of the international project is to help municipalities and communities make the transition to clean energy.

At the first meeting, the Estonian LEADER Association will present the project’s objectives, the Tartu Regional Energy Agency will give an overview of community energy solution models and the Lääne-Harju municipality will share information about the municipality’s plans in the field of renewable energy and energy communities.

Among the Estonian municipalities involved in the project as associated partners are the municipalities of Alutaguse, Elva, Hiiumaa, Järva, Lääne-Harju, Põltsamaa, Rõuge, Saku, Tori, Türi, Viimsi and Viru-Nigula.
