To improve collaboration and dialogue between local councils, LAG, citizens, and stakeholders for CET.

To improve social awareness, knowledge and social acceptance of renewable energies and their benefits in the rural sector, including RECs as a tool.

To carry out a diagnosis of the current situation in the municipalities under study in order to co-create energy plans and new, more ambitious energetic objectives, in line with new European policies.

To encourage citizen participation and leadership of initiatives, in order to reduce their electricity bills (reducing energy poverty) and increasing rural quality of live. 

To promote the creation of Energy Communities in rural areas (REC) suffering significant demographic losses and/or with more than 10,000 inhabitants.

To improve training and capacity building in community energy development. Legal, technical, and financial capacities of local actors and facilitators will be strengthened to support citizen-led initiatives in the field of energy.

To promote flexible and viable investment decisions through business models in renewable energies for energy production in rural areas.

To provide political feedback to improve public policies and the legal and regulatory environment within the Energy Communities.

To contribute to the Second Pillar of the Common Agricultural Policy and to European Territorial Agenda.

Maximise the impact of the project, ensuring replicability in other regions through an action plan to communicate the objectives and disseminate results to prosumers in the EU.
