The conference, entitled Grafting Cities, took place from 18th to 20th October as part of the Climate Alliance General Assembly and International Conference (CAIC23). The event, organised by Energy Cities and members of the Climate Alliance Modena and AESS, aimed to redefine the narrative of urban futures by exploring how cities can transform and thrive by building on what already exists, promoting diversity and strengthening resilience.
Thanks to this space for exchanging ideas with representatives from different European locations, Xavier Simón, as coordinator of the EC4RURAL project, had the opportunity to present the project, which motivates energy initiatives with citizen participation.
