The EC4RURAL project has launched its online training platform with a free course designed to bring the energy community model to all interested citizens, technical staff of municipalities, Rural Development Groups (GDR), companies and social actors in rural Galicia.
The training is structured in six progressive modules, designed to offer a comprehensive vision of the process of creating, managing and implementing a renewable energy community, especially in the rural Galician context.
Each module combines theoretical content, practical activities, real cases and spaces for collective reflection, allowing participants to apply the knowledge acquired to their local context.
🟢 Module 1. Awareness of energy citizenship
Discover the potential of citizens to lead the change towards a sustainable energy model:

🔵 Module 3. Collective action with municipalities and GDRs: mobilization and networking
Local collaboration as a driver of energy change:

→ Legal framework for collective action and the creation of Renewable Energy Communities: Navigate the legal environment with ease.
→ Municipalities as actors in the energy transition: Learn about the opportunities offered by local governments.

→ Galician ecosystem: Review of resources and projects in our community.
