The Estonian partners of the EC4RURAL project are organising an inspiring meeting in Tikupoiss. The programme of the meeting is as follows:
10:30h – Welcome and coffee.
11:00-13:00h – Seminar and discussion:
– Laavi Liivandi will share her experience of the challenges and successes of establishing energy communities in Hiiumaa.
– Local government perspective on energy communities (speaker to be confirmed).
– René Reisner (Ministry of Climate Change) will talk about the development of energy communities in Estonia.
– Panel discussion ‘Why do we need energy communities?
– Discussion and exchange of ideas for inspiration and exchange of experiences.
13.00 – 13.30h – Lunch break (own expense).
13:30h – Guided tour with the host Urmas Johanson. We will explore the solar farm, battery storage and wind generator at Ladder Boy.
