On Monday 10th June, the EC4RURAL – LIFE Programme team met with the municipal officials and residents of the municipality of Outes (A Coruña) to make further progress in the constitution of the rural energy community of the municipality.

During this meeting, a set of procedures and protocols were shared with the Core Group with two objectives. On the one hand, for the constitution of the legal entity that will give legal form to the energy community and, on the other, to initiate the administrative steps and for the municipality of Outes to become part of this same community initiative to produce energy with legal security.

Outes is one of the 22 Galician rural municipalities participating in the #PilotoGalicia of the EC4RURAL – LIFE Programme. The other municipalities are Mazaricos, Moeche, Ordes, Tordoia, Vedra, Vilasantar (A Coruña); Avión, Entrimo, Muíños (Ourense), Becerreá, Monterroso, Muras, Ourol, Palas de Rei, A Pobra do Brollón, Sober, O Valadouro (Lugo); O Rosal, Salvaterra de Miño, Silleda and Tomiño (Pontevedra).
